About Life

"In three short words, I can sum up everything I know about life: It goes on."

From my perception you seem to have hit the nail mostly on the head with your description of what life is; it goes on...

Now I propose the natural extension of the initial position; ...on to where or what? Or, need there be a position on this question at all.

Well, good to see you, GMiller. I didn't know you read/followed my writing online. I will have to calculate my "audience" more broadly. I'm honored and equally certain my writing will improve for the knowing.

As to your query:

I think the most true thing is that "life goes on." When any of the innumerable extensions are applied, the measure of "truth" recalibrates to the speaker's world. ... nothing wrong with that. So, goes on to "where?" and "what?" For me, goes on in the process of becoming all I was meant to be by the very One who made me.

Do I know there IS a God, as the last sentence above presumes? No, but I like who I am when I believe it, and trying to become all that He made me to be works to make me a better woman. I "go on" in this work and am happier for having done so.
